Our service fetches videos from your video service (i.e. Ring) which is linked to a property, camera and reservation for your property. Upon receipt of the video, we utilize facial recognition to count the number of unique guests. We continuously monitor your property and alert you if the number of guests exceeds your threshold per property.
While no service is 100% accurate due to variations of the quality of the video, lighting, camera position, etc., our service offers a high accuracy of person detection. You can delete photos that are duplicates of an existing guest or if the photo is not a guest. Our goal is to avoid having you constantly monitor your cameras to determine if guests are exceeding the maximum occupancy.
We currently support Direct bookings, AirBnb, HomeAway, and VRBO. If you would like recommend an additional channel, please let us know.
We currently support Ring doorbell (recommended) and cameras that record when motion is detected. All hardware sold separately.
Open the app and look at the dashboard. The property with the violation will be highlighted in red and indicates the number of guests that were detected. Click view photos to confirm that guest photos and confirm if they did violate the maximum occupancy. If so, contact the guests right away to rectify the situation based on your house rules.
Yes, and each property can have multiple cameras. We charge by number of cameras, not properties.
Yes, the owner or admin role can manage users under the settings tab. The viewer role will have access but cannot make any changes to your properties, cameras, or calendars. All users will receive alerts for occupancy violations for the properties they are allowed to see.
We strive to keep to our pricing simple and fair. We charge $0.25 per video regardless of the number of properties or cameras. You are invoiced monthly based on prior month's usage. Typically, a high occupancy month tends to produce about 300 videos, but of course this can vary depending on guest's activity.
Calendar exporting gives our App access to your reservation dates so we can associate occupancy violations to the reservation. The following steps must be completed from a desktop and not from the AirBnb or HomeAway app.

You would need to email yourself the URL and then from your phone, retrieve the email and copy and paste the URL into our App.
Match threshold has a setting between 1 and 10. If you are receiving too many duplicate guest photos, then you would increase this value; likewise, if you are not receiving enough photos, then you would decrease this value. The default value is 5.5.
Sharpness threshold has a setting between 1 and 20. If you are receiving too many duplicate guest photos and the image is blurry, then you would increase this value; likewise, if you are not receiving enough photos, then you would decrease this value. The facial recognition is more accurate when it received a high quality photo of the entire guest's face. The default value is 4.
Yaw threshold has a setting between 1 and 10. If your camera location is far off to the left or right of your entryway, then you would increase this value, so we can include guest photos with partial view of their faces; likewise, if your camera is mostly facing the guest directly when the enter your home, then you would decrease this value. The facial recognition is more accurate when it received a photo of the entire guest's face. The default is 5.
